Sjørring celebrates its 75th anniversary

Sjørring celebrates its 75th anniversary on October 30th. In 75 years, Sjørring has become one of the leading bucket manufacturers for the European construction industry. Particularly in recent years, Sjørring has set its direction and expects to have its best financial year ever this year.

In 1946, Sjørring was founded in the village of the same name in northwestern Jutland. Today, 75 years later, we’re one of the leading bucket manufacturers for the European contractor industry.

"Sjørring has been on a long and exciting journey. Especially in recent years, there has been a lot of development, and it's great that in the year of our 75th anniversary, we expect to have our best financial year ever," says Klaus Kalstrup, CEO of Sjørring.

From uncertain ground to clear direction

Just six years ago, we were on uncertain ground, and the new management at the time had to carry out a comprehensive turnaround. But not just a turnaround in the classic sense - the management had to create a viable foundation and prepare the company for future challenges.

Over the past few years, we’ve optimized our production and invested heavily in both machinery and technology. As a result, we’ve developed from being a subcontractor of welded components to being one of the leading bucket manufacturers in Europe.

"We have a clear vision and strategic direction today that we believe in - and so far, we must conclude that it has been a success," says Klaus Kalstrup.

Celebrating with an open house

"We want to mark and celebrate our 75th anniversary. Therefore, we are opening the doors to our factory and inviting people to an open house," says Klaus Kalstrup.

On October 30th, we’ll welcome guests to an open house from 12-4 pm. Here, partners, customers, and other interested parties can experience how we produce digging and loading buckets, which are primarily delivered to Europe and South and North America. The afternoon includes guided tours, competitions, and refreshments.
